New Zealand Fashion Week
New Zealand Fashion Week (NZFW) is the country's premier fashion event, host to runway shows, panel events, and a myriad of consumer and sponsor activations. Drawing thousands of fashion fans each year and held in the heart of Tāmaki Makarau Auckland city, this prestigious and multifaceted event is a highlight of the Australasian fashion calendar. Founded in 2001 by Dame Pieter Stewart and now owned by educational entrepreneur Feroz Ali, NZFW plays a critical role for designers and the wider fashion industry, allowing them to bring their creative vision to life in both trade-focused and consumer-facing settings. In 2025 NZFW launched the Christchurch Spring Fashion Festival: a 3-day event across November 7-9, creating a national event presence and connecting the fashion industry across the North and South Islands.
